The 26th Moscow international tourism exhibition MITT ” Travel and tourism “was held from 12 to 14 March 2019 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. MITT is one of the five leading tourist exhibitions in the world, which is widely recognized by the international tourism community and is a significant event in the field of tourism business. As part of the MITT exhibition, extensive business programs were traditionally held, consisting of conferences on topical issues of tourism business, seminars and consultations, presentations of new directions and services.
Every year the exhibition is attended by companies from more than 200 countries and regions of the world. Special attention at the international tourism exhibition is paid to domestic tourism-fifty regions of the Russian Federation offered their new tourist products, including the Bulgarian Museum-reserve. Employees of the Department of excursions Prokofiev G. R. and Valiulina R. S. took an active part in it. Great interest was shown to the Bulgarian Museum-reserve by visitors of the exhibition and tourist companies, new routes, school tours and interactive programs in museums were discussed.
The exhibition was a great success, attracting thousands of Russian and foreign tour operators, it is MITT that determines the potential of inbound tourism and is a real “showcase” of tourist opportunities in Russia.
