March 20, 2019 employee of the Department of excursions of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Abdrakhmanova A. R. in 4 classes of MBOU “Bulgarian secondary school №1” was held a lecture on “the Art of the Volga Bulgaria. History of ornament”.
Tatar ornament was formed for thousands of years, since the era of the ancient Turkic States. It has come a very long way. It has always reflected the nature and symbolically important for human objects and images. The ancient ornament, which was widely used in architecture, in artistic and decorative arts, was notable for its richness. Mainly geometric and floral patterns were used. In these beautiful patterns we can see the world around us, natural phenomena characteristic of the distant ancestors of the Tatars who lived in the Altai, Central and South Asia.
During the lecture, students with the help of a colorful presentation and story got acquainted with the most beautiful samples and views of the Tatar national pattern, as well as learned a lot about the development of ornamental art of the Volga Bulgaria.
