The experience of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve in organizing volunteer camps was presented at UNESCO
The presentation of the project “Volunteers of the world heritage of Bolgar” was held in the framework of a training seminar for the organizers of UNESCO Volunteer camps. The seminar was held at the headquarters of the Organization from 11 to 15 March 2019. The Russian Federation was represented at the event by Nargiz aituganova, an employee of the Bulgarian state historical and architectural Museum-reserve.
The training seminar was aimed at the exchange of experience and professional development of the organizers of UNESCO volunteer camps. The event was attended by more than 20 organizers from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The Bulgarian state historical and architectural Museum-reserve has been participating in the UNESCO world heritage Volunteers initiative since 2017: the Museum-reserve annually hosts the international volunteer camp “Volunteers of the world heritage of Bolgar”.
