K. held an interactive event “Defenders of our Motherland”, dedicated to the day of defender of the Fatherland for students 4 “a” class MBOU “Bulgarian secondary school №1 with in-depth study of individual subjects” Spassky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The history of the holiday on February 23 is an integral part of the history of the whole country. It is full of dozens of state, political and social facts that repeatedly change the fate of a multi-million people. History on February 23, though the short form should be known to both adults and children. After all, defender of the Fatherland Day is not only a tribute to the memory and honor of the military, but also a real triumph of brave and courageous civilian men who are ready to become a breast to defend their homeland at any moment.
For the first time the holiday got its official name in 1922. Then it was called the day of the red Army and Navy. In 1923, the 5th anniversary of the young red Army was widely celebrated. And although in fact the Decree on the organization of the red army was adopted at a meeting of The Council of people’s Commissars on January 28, 1918, historically a tradition to celebrate the holiday on February 23. February 23, 1938 was approved anniversary medal “XX years of the red army”, and the holiday was not only official, but also solemn. During the great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, February 23 acquired special significance. Each family waited from the front for news from relatives and friends, so the day of the red Army was celebrated by all. Their favorite warriors congratulated in writing and in absentia and very hoped, that they as can be rather have returned home. It is in those years that the origins of people’s love and attention to this date lie. During the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 this holiday was celebrated in a special way. On February 23, 1943, the Red Army defeated the enemy at Stalingrad, reversing a nearly 20-month German offensive. Exactly one year later, on February 23, 1944, the army of our country celebrated its holiday, forcing the Dnieper. On February 23, 1945, the Red Army celebrated this holiday in Europe. Our country was liberated from the fascist invaders. After the war, in 1949, the holiday was renamed, and on February 23 became known as the Day of the Soviet Army and Navy. There was a tradition to celebrate this event solemnly and in a big way: on this day military parades were held, fireworks were arranged. Veterans of the army and Navy were awarded orders and medals. First honored those who had to do with military service, but since in Soviet times, most of the young men served in the army, the holiday gradually became more widespread.
During the event, the children were presented with a colorful presentation and information about the history of the holiday. Then there was an intellectual quiz “historical Lotto”, which students answered with interest. Girls congratulated a strong half of a class thematic ditties, and future defenders of the homeland took active part in comic, sports competitions. At the end of the event, the guys came to the conclusion that from childhood it is necessary to cultivate such qualities as courage, courage, kindness and nobility, because everyone depends on what will be our army in the future.
