On February 21, 2019 the scientific employee of the Department of Museum and educational activities of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Krivosheeva S. V. held an interactive event “AZ da Buki-that’s all science” for the 2nd grade students of the Bulgarian sanatorium boarding school.
Since the times of Volga Bulgaria, the development of education has been given great attention, an uneducated person was considered ignorant.
At this event, students met with educational institutions of the city of Spassk XIX century, learned the name of the subjects taught and studied at the time, compared with the subjects studied in the classroom in a modern school.
Students got acquainted with the subject world of their ancestors, visited the lessons in the old school, learned to use educational supplies and manuals at the lessons of ABC, writing, reading. Learned the rules of behavior of pupils, methods of punishment for disobedience of children not only rods, but also a lash or standing on peas.
At the end of the event, each student wrote his name in the old Slavic language, the alphabet of which was created by brothers Cyril and Methodius in 865.
