February 18, 2019 for students of the 4th grade of the BULGARIAN sanatorium boarding school of Spassky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan employee of the Department of excursions BGIAMZ Rogacheva M. N. a lecture-conversation on “Bulgarian jewelers” was held in order to expand the historical knowledge of children, develop their understanding, respect and love for the history of their native land and its cultural heritage.

During the lecture, the children were presented with a bright presentation with photos of archaeological finds from the Bulgarian settlement, revealing the theme of the development of jewelry craft in the ancient city of Bolgar. Students, actively participating in the conversation, learned about the history of ancient jewelry, about the different ways and forms of work of Bulgarian masters, heard ancient legends associated with jewelry. The students got acquainted with the rich archaeological collection of unique products of Bulgarian jewelers, and saw a wide variety of working tools, as well as learned about their purpose and application. At the end of the conversation, all the children with great interest solved a crossword puzzle on the theme of jewelry.
