6 Feb 2019 head of the Department of Museum and educational activities of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Vagapov R. Z. conducted the interactive lesson “Food is something that accompanies man”, for students 2 and 3 courses of the Department “Technology of cooking” COLLEDGE “Spassky College of industrial technologies”.
In the first part of this lesson, the participants discussed the place of food in human life and how the attitude to it changed in different historical periods. Special attention was paid to the first dishes in national cuisines, students remembered the history of their appearance and what categories they are divided into.
The second part of the lesson was devoted to the history and features of soups in Tatar cuisine, one of the oldest of them is Salma. Salma-flour product in the form of shells-a very common dish among the Tatars. It is prepared in meat broth and broth. Salma can be boiled with potatoes, onions, carrots, peas, lentils. Today for cooking has been selected chicken chulpa. During the preparation, students received a number of useful tips that helped to prepare delicious Salma on fragrant, transparent and rich broth.
In this lesson, the guys were able to discover the new side of the Tatar national cuisine, which became closer and clearer to them.
