“All-Russian day of nature reserves and national parks” is a relatively young date in the calendar of ecologists. It began to be celebrated since 1997. It was in that year That the center for wildlife protection and the world wildlife Fund took the initiative to annually celebrate the all-Russian day of nature reserves and national parks in the Russian Federation.
Today in Russia there are about 12 thousand specially protected natural areas-nature reserves, national parks and Federal reserves.
In honor of this date, on January 11, 2019, the employee of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Kabirova G. H. held an interactive event ” Ecological journey “for the pupils of GBOU”Bulgarian boarding school for children with disabilities”. During the meeting, the children were presented with information about the reserves and national parks of Russia. The event ended with a quiz and gifts.
